Everyday people have paid the price for twenty years of war in Afghanistan with our lives and tax dollars. But defense contractors and Wall Street elites got rich — and their allies in Congress let them get away with it.

That’s not politics. That’s war profiteering — and they should go to jail for it.

We can’t afford another twenty years of corrupt politicians helping elites profit from war while communities back home are getting left behind by the people in power. The bill I’ll file will make it illegal for war profiteers to have any sort of influence on our nation’s foreign policy. We’ll outlaw defense contractors from having lobbyists, and we’ll make it illegal for politicians to take their money through campaign contributions.

Any politician or defense contractor found in violation will be put in jail. Period.
