Last week, Governor Murphy announced a commitment to further expand New Jersey’s public preschool programs, as he continues to work toward universal access to early childhood education in the Garden State. But Governor Murphy’s Republican opponent, Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli, dismissed the idea.

It’s just the latest example of the contrast in this race for New Jersey Governor. Governor Murphy is working to move our state forward — we can’t count on Ciattarelli to fight for New Jerseyans.

Under Governor Murphy’s leadership, we’ve made historic investments in public education, laid out a roadmap to transition New Jersey to clean energy sources, and put our state on the path to a $15 minimum wage.

If elected, Ciattarelli would undo that hard-won progress. We can’t let that happen.
