Over the weekend, the Senate Parliamentarian — an unelected advisor to the Senate — recommended against including a pathway to citizenship for millions in the reconciliation package.

While this decision delivered a blow to our chances of legislating a pathway to citizenship this year, the fight is not over.

Senate Democrats still have the power to deliver despite this suggestion, and we must urgently lift up our support for a pathway to citizenship while we still have the chance to pass it through Congress.
