Yesterday, my team reached out with some rough news — rumors and whispers are circulating among my GOP congressional colleagues that Donald Trump is getting ready to announce another run for president any day now…

Here’s why we can’t allow this to happen:

Even out of office, Donald Trump continues to threaten our democracy. Just last week, he wrote to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger asking that he decertify the 2020 presidential election results from Georgia! 

He’s still on the road, engaging far-right supporters and holding political rallies where he continues to spread harmful misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic and the 2020 election. In just the next few weeks, he’ll be taking his violent rhetoric to Iowa — a state that plays a critical role in the early months of any presidential bid. 

If Donald Trump was to win in 2024, you can bet I would be one of his top targets in Congress. There’s no doubt that after I led the charge to hold him and his cronies accountable, he’ll come after me if he’s re-elected.
