Biden's Credibility Crisis

The past week has been a colossal disaster for Joe Biden. But if you're listening to the "mainstream" media, you probably don't realize just how bad it's been.

President Biden was completely surprised by 15,000 Haitians showing up at our southern border. Like all the other illegal immigrants crossing our border, most are unskilled and will end up on welfare.

Virtually none of them are vaccinated, and many illegal aliens are refusing to be vaccinated ([link removed]) . Joe Biden insists that you get vaccinated or lose your job. But he's not forcing illegal aliens ([link removed]) to get vaccinated, even in the middle of the pandemic.

Our ally France is so angry ([link removed]) with Biden that it recalled its ambassador from Washington – for the first time ever! That's a big deal – something usually done by nations on the verge of war. That's how badly Biden is messing up our relationship with France.

How about COVID? Biden recently announced that he bought enough vaccines for a third booster shot for everyone, but he forgot to ask the scientists. Some scientists resigned in protest ([link removed]) . There was even talk of a "mutiny" at the FDA. And the FDA mostly rejected ([link removed]) Biden's big push for booster shots because the science doesn't support it.

His incompetence in Afghanistan has cost more lives. The Pentagon finally admitted that a U.S. drone strike killed 10 innocent Afghan civilians ([link removed]) , including seven children. Strangely, the Pentagon still refuses to name ([link removed]) the ISIS terrorists it supposedly killed in an earlier drone strike.

Finally, Biden tried to legalize millions of illegal aliens by jamming an amnesty provision into his deceptive infrastructure bill. Thankfully, the Senate parliamentarian blocked ([link removed]) that outrageous move.

As Senator Marco Rubio put it:

"Joe Biden was elected on the promise that he was going to return normalcy, competency to the American government. . . And what you see now is a cascade of calamities and disasters, and they were all created by him and by actions he took."

And you know it's really bad for Joe Biden when a liberal Democrat like NBC's Chuck Todd ([link removed]) agrees, saying that Biden's "got a pretty big credibility crisis on his hands."



How Bad Is It?

Polling continues to show that more and more Americans have buyer's remorse or "Biden remorse." For example:

A poll sponsored by McLaughlin & Associates ([link removed]) found that many likely voters now prefer Trump's "toughness," "aggressive style" and approach to issues over Biden's "weakness." In a head-to-head match-up today, Trump would beat Biden 50% to 47%.

McLaughlin is a well-known Republican pollster so you might expect his results to be favorable toward Trump. Well, certainly no one is going to accuse the Harvard/Harris poll ([link removed]) of oversampling Republicans. But it also found similar results.

The latest Harvard/Harris poll found that Biden's favorability rating is 46%, while Trump's favorability rating is 48%. Asked who is the better president, 51% of respondents said Trump, while 49% said Biden. And by a 10-point margin, 55% to 45%, voters said Mike Pence was a better vice president than Kamala Harris.

The latest Des Moines Register ([link removed]) poll has more bad news for Biden. Considered the "gold standard" of Iowa polling, the Des Moines Register found that Joe Biden's approval rating in the Hawkeye State is just 31%, while 62% of Iowans say Biden is doing a bad job as president.

One final poll: 70% of Americans ([link removed]) said that Biden's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan amounted to a "national humiliation."

Ouch!! It's going to be hard to recover from that.



Washington vs. Mao

President Joe Biden delivered his first address before the United Nations today. As expected, Biden signaled that his priorities are COVID and climate change.

Biden told the global assembly of presidents, prime ministers, dictators and thugs, "Our security, prosperity, and our very freedom are interconnected as never before — and so we must work together as never before." Biden also declared that the U.S. is not seeking a cold war ([link removed]) with communist China.

But in spite of the pap served up by Biden at the UN today, communist China and the United States are on a collision course.

America was founded by men like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin and John Adams. These extraordinary individuals came up with the revolutionary concept that our freedom comes from God, not government.

Communist China was built by Mao Zedong ([link removed]) , the greatest mass murderer in human history, responsible for the deaths of at least 65 million people.

A frontpage story in today's Wall Street Journal ([link removed]) repeats what I have been warning about for years. Chinese President Xi Jinping is 1,000% committed to returning his country back to Mao's communist roots.

China's youth are burning with patriotic fervor ([link removed]) for Mao the mass murderer. At the same time America's elites are demonizing our founders as evil men who provide no positive examples of anything.

If we can't get America's youth to love our founders as much as Chinese youth love their mass murderer, Mao, then our $700 billion defense budget will mean nothing. We will lose.

I have been promoting American exceptionalism for many, many years -- going back to my days in the Reagan Administration. We must defeat the Marxist threats to our freedom – threats both foreign and domestic.

Whipgate

Big Media, which has shown little interest in covering the border crisis, suddenly found something it wanted to talk about. It claimed that Border Patrol agents on horseback ([link removed]) were "whipping" Haitian migrants.

There's no evidence that anyone was actually whipped. But as one liberal journalist famously said, "The narrative was right even if the facts were wrong."

Just like "Trump's kids in cages ([link removed]) ," the media had its border narrative and it ran wild with it, once again stoking racial division and animosity toward law enforcement.

"Border Czar" Kamala Harris ([link removed]) , who has hardly been heard from lately, suddenly found her voice. But instead of raising her voice to tell migrants to stop coming here illegally, Harris attacked the Border Patrol agents.

Sadly, Harris's vitriol was totally predictable. In the past, she's compared ([link removed]) our brave Border Patrol and ICE agents to the KKK and domestic terrorists.



Israel's Christian Allies

The Israel Allies Foundation has published its annual list ([link removed]) of Israel's top 50 Christian allies. I am pleased to report that two personal friends, with whom I have worked closely for many years, were honored with the top spots on this prestigious list.

Number one on the list of Israel's Top Christian Allies is former Vice President Mike Pence, and Pastor John Hagee, founder of Christians United for Israel, was second on the list.

Congratulations, my friends! I am proud to stand with you in defense of the U.S.-Israel alliance!
