This is a critical moment, and we need every Pennsylvanian who cares about the climate crisis and a just future to step up and act. TODAY.

We spent all August recess hosting events with volunteers like you to tell our members of Congress that we need climate action NOW. Thank you for all you’ve done so far! But now, Congress returned to Washington to hash out the final details of the Build Back Better Act — the legislation we’ve been working toward this whole time. It’s the biggest and boldest clean energy and climate proposal in history — but right now, climate action hangs in the balance.

The oil and gas industry and other polluters are spending MILLIONS to flood Congress with deceptive messaging and apply pressure to strip climate action out of the bill. Widely supported, common sense climate provisions that would invest in communities of color and hire millions of people in new, good-paying, clean energy jobs could be on the chopping block.
That’s why we must come together and make our voices as loud as possible.

This year has made it clearer than ever that ignoring the climate emergency any longer would be disastrous for all of us. Historic storms and floods and unprecedented heat waves are affecting all our communities. In particular, climate-driven disasters are hitting communities of color and low-wealth communities the hardest. We need to do everything in our power to act. That’s why we need you to join us today.
