His neurological disease needs treatment FAST!

Friend, we KNEW something was wrong with Blue …

The first clue was when he wasn’t the first to the food pen!

Instead of walking confidently, like the proud and dominant horse he is, Blue was slow, uncoordinated, and even stumbling.

Now, we’re worried this could be a neurological problem – and his brain just isn’t communicating with his legs properly.

We need to get Blue help urgently. We need to raise $3,500 for his critical diagnostics, treatment and care! Will you please help?

This isn’t Blue’s first battle… His name is short for "Dealer’s Blues." The way he walked didn’t meet "show standards" causing his cruel owner the "blues."

Thank goodness he’s been a part of our lives, here at Kindred Spirits Sanctuary, since 2003. And we love him just the way he is.

But right now, his walking is an issue again! And we’re very concerned. The vet looked at his leg and put him on pain meds. But that wasn't enough.

Here’s what we’re so worried about. It could be a dangerous disease called EPM. It's literally attacking Blue’s central nervous system.

We’ve had it affect two of our horses in the past. It’s no joke… and could result in permanent brain damage if left untreated.

DEADLINE: We need your help now. It’s going to cost thousands to test and treat for EPM. And if it’s not EPM, we’ll still have to find out what’s affecting Blue, which means even MORE expensive diagnostic tests!

This isn’t just about Blue’s legs. It’s about his life.

Blue is stumbling when he walks. One misstep could cause a break. And with horses, a broken leg can mean death.

There is another danger. Because Blue is the dominant horse in our herd, another male horse might challenge him while he is weakened. The way Blue is now, he can’t defend himself. He could be seriously hurt.

So, if it’s a neurological condition, Blue is in danger …

And if he gets a severe leg injury in the meantime, it could be the end.

Now, he has one chance. We need your help to pay his URGENT vet bills to get him the help he needs!

PLEASE HELP BLUE TODAY.

And Kindred Spirits we take on animals that other sanctuaries can’t or won’t. As a result, our vet bills are higher than most.

We’ve had a recent surge in health issues, and our medical budget is in the red. I don’t know where the funds will come from. Unless … you chip in today.

Please. We’ve already made the equine vet appointment. We have just one week to pull together $3,500 for Blue’s costly care and all the medical bills to support our residents that keep piling up. Won’t you please help?

Sincerely,
