I need you to see what we are up against...
John, three quick things you need to know:
- Ohio is a swing state. We’ve got 1 Democrat and 1 Republican senator. It could go either way this election.
- But, Dems only win ONE way: turnout. Historically, we’ve only won with a candidate who can excite and turnout the Black vote, women’s vote, and youth vote. (spoiler alert -- that’s us!)
- The leading Republicans are super dangerous. If they win, they’d be among — if not the most — extreme Republican senators in the country.
I’m up against our very first official FEC deadline. All our fundraising numbers will be made public, and it’s absolutely critical for us to hit our goal before the end of the month. Can you contribute $5 now before our first-ever FEC deadline?
Look, when I say these leading Republican candidates are dangerous, don’t just take my word for it. Just open Twitter-dot-com and look at what my two big opponents are saying. It’s absolutely wild. So wild that Twitter has had to suspend BOTH of their accounts in the past month.

I believe our campaign can do that better than any other Democrat in this race.
