Join AYD and our Veterans & Foreign Affairs Caucus for our Progressive Foreign Policy Panel TONIGHT at 7pm via Zoom.
We’ll be hearing from a few foreign policy professionals about various topical issues and there will be an opportunity for Q&A. Our panelists will be Maha Hilal, PhD (Co-Director of Justice for Muslims Collective), Matt Duss (Foreign Policy Advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders), and Ally Harpootlian (Political Partner with the Truman National Security Project). The meeting will also be live-streamed to our AYD Facebook Page.

AYD Canvass: Briana Sewell, Elizabeth Guzman, & VA Dems
Join us for another AYD Canvass double header! On Saturday, September 25th, we'll be heading out again to Woodbridge, but this time to knock doors for Briana Sewell from HoD District 51. We'll then head out to Warrenton later in the day to help out Elizabeth Guzman for HoD District 31. We’ll be meeting up at Clarendon’s Northside Social at 9:15am to carpool out by 9:30am in order to arrive in Woodbridge, VA to canvass from 10am-1pm. We'll then take a break for lunch and then drive over to Warrenton to canvass from 4pm-6pm. We should arrive back in Arlington by approximately 7pm.
The first canvass launch location address is 12350 Cotton Mill Dr, Woodbridge, VA 22192. The second canvass launch location is 7122 Baldwin Ridge Rd, Warrenton, VA 20187. Please come dressed in appropriate attire for walking outside for long periods of time (think: athletic clothing, tennis shoes, sunglasses, baseball cap or visor), and keep an eye on the forecast. We recommend you wear sunscreen, bring water and snacks, and come with a fully charged phone as we will most likely be using an app to canvass.
For safety regarding COVID-19, we ask that all volunteers be vaccinated. Masks are also required for volunteering.

Join the Arlington Young Democrats, candidates, and local Democratic leaders and guests for a night of socializing and trivia on Saturday, October 9th at 6pm! Extra points will be given to attendees for canvassing before the event. Help us #KeepVirginiaBlue! ⠀
