Hello

You might not know me, but my story is like many Americans, it’s an immigrant story.

My father and mother fled from communist North Korea during the Korean War. We didn’t have much growing up, but I worked hard and learned English, making it my third language. My mom and dad encouraged me to dream of a better life – and I did.

We moved to America and mom opened a clothing store in downtown LA. However, she struggled with overbearing state regulations. This went against my beliefs about the “Land of Opportunity” and drove me to want to make a change.
So, I got involved in my community and ran for local office – as a conservative in California.

I knew the challenges against me, but I’m not someone who ever gives up. The American Dream is about beating the odds and fighting to the end – and that’s what I do.

And after I ran for Congress and flipped a BLUE seat RED in California’s 48th District, I knew my opponents and the left-wing special interests would notice and try to stop me.

Look, I don’t mince words:  The radical Left does not like me because they know I’m a strong conservative immigrant woman, who will never stop fighting for what I believe in.

They will do anything to silence me – and silence you too.

I know we are asking a lot, but this battleground district is the most important one on the map right now, and if we can’t keep up with the Democrats, there’s no chance to win back the House Majority.

My whole life has been spent working against the evils of big government – and I’m not going to let the radical-left and their supporters in the media tear me down.

Only in America could the daughter of immigrants get to serve in the greatest legislature in the world – which means I’ve been blessed to live the American Dream.

But if we don’t act now, the American Dream may be lost forever.  And I think you agree that America is worth fighting for.

Thank you for all that you do,
Michelle Steel
