From enacting harsher voter ID requirements to purging hundreds of thousands of voters from voter rolls, Republicans — overwhelmingly funded by right-wing dark money groups — are doing everything they can to restrict the fundamental right to vote in states across the country.

These laws are undemocratic, anti-voter, anti-progress, and disproportionately limit access to the ballot for voters of color. We need to do everything we can to protect voting rights, and we need to act fast.

That’s why this week I’m standing with my fellow Democrats to introduce the Democracy for All Amendment — a constitutional amendment that would get big money out of politics by overturning the disastrous Citizens United decision and stop the wealthiest individuals and corporations from drowning out the voices of ordinary Americans.
