Weekly Training Digest - Advance Your Skills With Training And Resources

During Poynter leadership seminars, we often talk about the importance of celebrating small wins. It can improve motivation, provide an opportunity for human connection and even help make meaning during tough times.

On Wednesday, Nov. 10, Poynter is celebrating journalism wins, both big and small, during our annual online gala. This event is honestly good for the soul. Will you join us?

Plan to be immersed in an evening of poignant storytelling featuring special appearances from journalists you know, glimpses inside award-winning newsrooms and examples of journalism’s critical role in a democratic society. We will also honor the distinguished career of Lesley Stahl, award-winning broadcast journalist and “60 Minutes” correspondent for CBS News. Interviewing the guest of honor is always my favorite part, and I can't wait to hear about Stahl's trailblazing career from her perspective.

Get your tickets today! There are free tickets available, as well as a variety of donation and VIP levels.

Now, onto this week’s upcoming training and events.
