Maddie arrived on campus and started her job at Texas Performing Arts before she even started classes as a Radio, Television, and Film student at UT. She spoke softly and listened carefully to the instructions she was given.

You would have loved watching Maddie learn and grow over the 4 years she worked at Texas Performing Arts. Her job was to make videos and work in the membership office.

By graduation, Maddie was confident, skilled, and prepared to take on the world. She was managing her own projects, suggesting improvements for the department, and even mentoring a high school student as part of her job.

Support students TODAY

As the largest venue on campus and in Austin, Texas Performing Arts provides more than great live performances. It provides skills, training, connections, and employment to students like Maddie.

Students are at the heart of Texas Performing Arts.
Employing nearly 100 students each semester throughout the organization costs about $2,000 per student.
