Hey folks, it’s Brad, Ben Ray’s campaign manager.
Since this campaign first began, we’ve prioritized giving our grassroots supporters a behind-the-scenes look at how we’re building a campaign that can win and protect our Democratic majority in New Mexico.
Here’s the can’t-miss news for October:FINANCE UPDATE:WE’RE SETTING FUNDRAISING RECORDS. Last quarter, our campaign raised more than $1 million, a record amount for New Mexico Senate candidates in the third quarter of an off-year. 98% of contributions were $100 or less and
not a single dollar came from corporate PACs.
That’s what people power looks like!BUT WE’RE NOT RESTING ON OUR LAURELS. Last quarter, GOP Senate candidates in New Mexico raised more than $350,000, including $100,000 in self-funding from a deep-pocketed candidate. On October 15,
The Hill also announced that the Trump campaign is hiring staff in New Mexico, including seasoned operatives that know how to win uphill battles.
HERE’S THE BOTTOM LINE. Republicans want to make New Mexico a battleground state in 2020. We’re counting on small-dollar grassroots donations to stop them.
