Today is the Paid Leave National Day of Action and we have a huge opportunity to finally enact paid leave in the United States.
Right now, legislation is moving through Congress that would make 12 weeks of paid family and sick leave available to working Americans, but some corporate Democrats aren't yet on board. We need Democrats 100% united if we're going to beat Republican obstruction and make it happen.
So with a large majority of Americans — nearly 80% — in favor of a national paid leave program, the time to act is now.
