John, The General Assembly is holding public hearings about the once-a-decade redrawing of our state legislative and congressional district maps, and we need you to weigh in. Before you do, our partners at All on the Line are training activists like you to make effective public comments that legislators can use to draw better districts and that will impact potential litigation if their maps are challenged in court. The next training is tonight! Click here to sign up for a training » If you can't make it to a live training, watch their video training here and read their guide to making effective comments here. Once you are trained, you are ready to make your voice heard! The final hearings are tomorrow in Jackson County, Wednesday in Mecklenburg County, Thursday in Iredell County, next Tuesday in Robeson County, next Wednesday in New Hanover County, and next Thursday in Cumberland County. Click below to see the schedule and sign up to speak! If you can't attend any of the in-person hearings, leave legislators your thoughts here.
