IRLI, Homan Take Lead Role Against Biden’s Destructive Immigration Agenda New video exposes how White House is ‘reversing America’s progress’ WASHINGTON—The Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI) today released a new video bringing attention to the work the organization is doing to oppose the Biden administration’s unprecedented assault on our nation’s borders, public safety and national sovereignty. The video is narrated by IRLI Senior Fellow Tom Homan, former acting director of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the Trump administration. “The Biden administration is reversing America’s progress on immigration,” says Homan in the spot. “Reversing ICE ability to deport criminal illegal aliens who are a public safety threat … It’s time to draw the line, by using America’s courts to stop Biden’s anti-borders agenda.” “There are few former government officials today who can speak on the immigration issue with the authority and experience of Tom Homan,” said Dale L. Wilcox, executive director and general counsel of IRLI. “He is sounding a warning to the American people about the crisis the Biden administration has brought upon our country with its ‘America Last’ immigration platform, and the critical role IRLI plays in opposing it.” Since its founding in 1986 and in particular over the last few years, IRLI has accumulated an impressive record of victories in numerous courts while protecting the rights of the American people from the harmful effects of excessive legal and illegal immigration. Currently, IRLI is serving as outside counsel for the State of Texas in its lawsuit against the Biden administration and its border COVID policies. IRLI is also representing a group of Texas sheriffs, Texas counties, and a membership organization of immigration-enforcement officers, filing for a preliminary injunction in Texas federal court against the Biden administration policy of prohibiting immigration officers from taking enforcement actions against removable aliens. The video can be viewed here.
