Turns out Abbott only won his gubernatorial primary with less than 10% of registered voters showing up. And the general election wasn’t much better! Only 53% of registered voters participated in the 2018 election that put Abbott into office.

Friend — when a vast majority of voters are intimidated, demoralized, or uninterested in showing up to the polls, we end up with elected officials like Greg Abbott, who will fight to restrict our rights, NOT to serve our communities.
