September is a critical month, John.

The federal fiscal year ends on September 30th, we are working on historic legislation to help our country Build Back Better, and the U.S. Supreme Court has allowed Texas' unconstitutional abortion ban to go into effect.

There is much work to be done for families, workers, and our communities. Understanding the importance of all that we are fighting for makes me even more resolved to make progress.

In the face of all that we're up against, we must continue to fight. We must fight for reproductive freedom, for giving families a chance to succeed, for combating our climate crisis, and for showing the world we are still a welcoming nation and a beacon for hope to all those who are suffering.

Thank you for always standing with me, and for keeping up the fight as well, John.
