Team,

We've known from the beginning that we'd be an underdog in this race. And in order to win, we'd need to run a grassroots campaign.

That means we have to be smarter and more efficient with how and when we allocate our resources. We don't spend on what we want, we spend on what we need to win.

When you invest in this campaign, we use every single one of your hard-earned dollars to keep building a movement that you can be proud of. That means investing in more field offices in the early states, hiring more field organizers to spread our message on the ground, and placing more ads to reach voters where they are. In other words, we prioritize our budget on spending money where it matters most.

If you believe in running a grassroots, people-funded presidential campaign, consider chipping in whatever you can right now.

Sometimes the pathway to victory might mean an early morning layover on the way to Cedar Rapids or a late night red-eye from Reno, but it's always worth it if it helps us come closer to making our vision for America a reality.

Our goal is to win -- to defeat Donald Trump and begin the hard work of healing our nation after years of hatred and bigotry. We must never lose sight of this.

I'm going to keep doing everything I can to make you proud out there. I hope you'll join me.

Sincerely,
Cory
