Dear Friend,
Over the last year and a half, Peace Over Violence has adapted to working in Covid times and learned how to deliver services in new and innovative ways. In this our 50th year, we remain steadfast in our mission to build healthy relationships, families and communities free from violence of all kinds. With 50 years of experience under our belts, we know how to do this important work the right way.
The pandemic has made social and racial injustices visible like never before. It has disproportionately impacted the communities we serve, particularly families of color and survivors of sexual and domestic violence. Demand for our services has increased. To meet this demand, we have adapted to virtual and hybrid service provision, formed and facilitated more support groups than ever before, and relocated our headquarters, creating a new, brave space allowing for more access and more opportunities to serve.
We are asking for your help to meet the greater demands of our transforming world. The complexities of our new realities require more from all of us: more commitment, more support, more bravery.
Be brave with us. The need for healing social justice has never been greater. Donate now. Click on the donate now button below, visit peaceoverviolence.org/brave, or email [email protected].
With gratitude,
Patti Giggans
