October Updates

Dear Wilderness Defender,

The leaves are almost all gone as we head into late October and paddling season winds down. Wilderness Defenders like you make the fight for this special place possible, so if you have a friend that loves the Wilderness, forward these monthly updates to them!

Another Successful Gala!
We had a wonderful gala this month thanks to supporters like you. We lucked out with gorgeous weather, and had a wonderful evening hearing from former Governor Mark Dayton, and explorers Ann Bancroft, Will Steger, and Paul Schurke, all while enjoying delicious food, silent and live auctions, and more! Together, we were able to surpass our goal and raised over $250,000 -- all of which will go directly towards protecting the Boundary Waters from sulfide-ore copper mining.
