Stop Undercounting People with Schizophrenia Hello John, The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) has been undercounting people with schizophrenia for years. By reporting inaccurate prevalence data, NIMH is subverting the intent of Congress to allow the public to ascertain how much the institute is spending on research on one disease compared to other diseases. NIMH must be held accountable for this. Click here to read our letter to Sharon Block, acting administrator of the Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs at the Office of Management and Budget, calling on her agency to provide the necessary oversight to ensure that NIMH posts accurate prevalence data on its website. Sincerely, Treatment Advocacy Center Thank you for your continued support of the Treatment Advocacy Center.
