⏰The House of Representatives is now debating the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), legislation that would approve a $780 BILLION Pentagon budget for 2022. 

The good news: we can still CUT the Pentagon budget! Representatives Barbara Lee and Mark Pocan introduced an amendment to the NDAA to slash the Pentagon budget by 10%. Tell your representatives to support crucial legislation to cut the Pentagon budget by 10%! 

It’s critical that we act now: there is a bipartisan push to INCREASE the Pentagon budget. Yes, even after officially ending the deadly war in Afghanistan that cost us over $2 TRILLION, they still want to throw more money toward the destructive U.S. war machine.

Members of Congress across both aisles have pockets awash with cash from lobbyists who work for military contractors. They will be working overtime this week to sneak extra money in the final NDAA for companies that make a killing on killing. We’re never going to match the dollars from the lobbyists, so if we’re going to win, we need the people that actually put these politicians into office to turn up the pressure! Tell your representative to REJECT any increase to the Pentagon budget and vote to cut funding by 10%.
