Over the last few months, our region has been through a lot. The pandemic is still with us on top of other crises. In Pittsburgh, we've been covering big stories in the time of COVID: return to school and upheaval at the Pittsburgh Public Schools, housing insecurities and large development projects, flooding issues and how municipalities have been mitigating effects of global warming. Access to factual information on the local level is just as important now as ever.
