Happy Autumn!

We are writing with the details of our AGM this year including who to contact if you'd like to stand to join the officer team, and a reminder that voting for the Green Party leadership election finishes this Thursday at 10pm. ?

Mon 4th Oct, 7-8.30pm - West Central London Green Party - Annual General Meeting (AGM)

At the Annual General Meeting, we will:

• give an update on campaigning over the past 12 months including hearing from our target local council candidates, Colin Murphy and Fabian Frenzel on their 'six to fix' - local issues that will help residents in their target ward

• elect a new officer team to cover these roles:
  • Chair/Coordinator
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • Nominating Officer
  • Membership Officer
  • Communications Officer
  • Fundraising Officer

• discuss other ways to volunteer your time and skills for local campaigning

• hear from the team comparing local council Climate Action Plans and discuss ways to support them

• discuss other business about local issues

If you want to stand to take on any of these roles please email [email protected] with the role title and short statement about why you would like to do this role and relevant experience by Sunday 26th September. These statements will be available on Green Spaces next week.

We are planning for this meeting to be a hybrid meeting but are still in the process of confirming an accessible venue that can accommodate this. Please sign up and you will receive the zoom link in your RSVP and if we can confirm a venue, we will send those details on as well.

The deadline for voting is 10pm, this Thursday 23rd Sept. You should have received an email from Claire Nash with your personal voting code. If you haven't received that, please email her at [email protected] ASAP.
