John,
It’s simple: we need to legalize adult-use marijuana.
|
Adults across the country should be able to legally access marijuana. Legalization benefits those with chronic pain, small businesses, farmers, and more. We also must expunge the records of those incarcerated for low-level, nonviolent marijuana-related charges. This is a racial justice issue because Black people have disproportionately been impacted by the enforcement of current cannabis laws.
In 2020, Elise Stefanik voted against a bill that would have ended the prohibition of cannabis at the federal level and would begin a process of expunging the records of nonviolent offenders convicted on marijuana charges.
When I serve in Congress, I will work to legalize adult-use marijuana and address the discriminatory enforcement of cannabis laws. If you agree that it’s high time for a change, will you chip in to send me to Congress? Whether you’re able to contribute $4.20 or $420, a contribution of any size allows our campaign the strength necessary to defeat Stefanik.→
