Friend, I just wrapped up a finance meeting, and the main point of discussion was this: How am I going to overcome the combined $32 million Marco Rubio and the Senate Republican campaign arm just raised? 

My grassroots fundraising is drastically slowing down at the worst possible moment. I still need to raise $25,000 to hit my midnight fundraising goal,friend. 

The Cook Political Report increased my chances of winning. We're gaining ground, and the GOP is taking notice. That's why they're parachuting in to destroy that momentum: National Republicans just committed another $10 million to keeping Florida red permanently. Missing my goal makes it even harder to compete with that kind of investment. 

I am not giving up – but Rubio has the advantage, and I am depending on you to maintain my momentum and win. You see the hill I have to climb – and you know what a win in Florida could mean for our country, so I've got to ask: Will you please make a contribution of $5 or more to win in Florida, defeat Marco Rubio and expand our Democratic Senate majority?
