I’ll start with the bad news: we fell short. We didn’t hit our mid-month fundraising goal last night.

Now, we’re at risk of falling behind for the entire month and posting low numbers for our public FEC report -- that will make us look vulnerable.

Here’s the good news: we can make up this lost ground if everyone reading this email chips in a few bucks today.

The Senate majority hinges on this race. Polling shows a razor-thin margin between Tim and his Republican opponents, but with our fundraising shortfalls, we are on dangerous ground.

Unlike Tim’s opponents, we don’t have the backing of billionaire GOP super PAC money  -- we are counting on grassroots supporters like YOU to help us get ahead.

We need to close our fundraising gap and fast -- Will you chip in what you’re able so we stay on track to flip this open Senate seat blue and expand our Democratic Senate majority?
