In 2015, we made a promise to middle class families across the country that we would have your back.

And that’s exactly what we’ve done.

We got through the last 18 months by pulling together – by being there for each other. We stepped up with solutions to support families, to have workers’ backs, to support small businesses – to keep people safe and healthy.

Brighter days are just around the bend. But we have to get this right, friend. We’ve come too far to go backward now.

From Surrey to Winnipeg, from Oakville to Quebec City, and from Iqaluit to St. John’s – Canadians from coast to coast to coast have shared their excitement for the future with me. They’re hopeful, and they’re ready for a brighter tomorrow. They’re ready to put this pandemic behind us, and move forward with real climate action, $10 a day child care and more spaces across the country, a Canada that will lead the world on good, green jobs, and so much more.

But there can be no moving forward for everyone, there can be no full economic recovery for anyone, unless we finish the fight against COVID-19 for good. And tomorrow, Canadians will make a choice: a Conservative party that will take Canada backward, or a government that will finish the fight against COVID-19 and always have your back.

We choose to stand with you. On climate change, on growth, on fairness, on opportunities, on being an open, welcoming country. We choose to keep Canada moving forward – for everyone.

At this very moment, the need for progressive leadership couldn’t be more clear.

We can build a better future that gives everyone a real and fair chance at success. We have a strong team, and a real and ambitious plan that will continue delivering real results for Canadians. We’re ready, friend.

Our hardworking Liberal teams have knocked on millions of doors, and made millions more calls. They are counting on us to have their backs now – and right up until Election Day tomorrow.
