Folks,
The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted each and every one of us significantly and it’s important to me that we remain diligent and keep our communities healthy and safe.
That’s why I signed legislation requiring Nevada employees who work with vulnerable communities in licensed health care settings or state-run detention centers to be fully vaccinated by November 1st.
We know that vaccines are safe and highly effective at preventing severe cases of coronavirus and hospitalizations -- and by requiring vaccination for employees and contractors, we can make institutional settings safer for everyone.
Throughout the pandemic I've fought for Nevadans by leading with evidence-based measures to help mitigate the spread of the virus, and ensuring that the vaccine is widely available.
I’m going to continue working hard to lead Nevada’s recovery through the pandemic and beyond and I hope I have your support.
Folks, will you add your name and let me know that you support this science-based solution to protect the health of every Nevadan?
Nevadans are Battle Born and I know that by following the science, we’ll come out of this stronger than ever -- together.
Thank you,
Steve Sisolak
