John,
My name is Christian Heyne. I’m Brady’s Vice President of Policy and I’m reaching out today because with time running out before our critical $75,000 match opportunity expires, we’re still falling dangerously short of our goal. So far, 1,028 people have stepped up to have their gift matched — can I count on you to join them?
We have never stopped fighting for life-saving reform — and we certainly can’t stop now. Not when lawmakers are willfully putting lives at stake with consistent inaction. Not when the NRA is fighting even harder to push their "guns everywhere" agenda. Every dollar you give today will go directly toward funding our critical work — from passing an assault weapons ban to holding gun manufacturers accountable in court. But we need you in this fight with us to make meaningful change in our country.
Brady is a grassroots organization, meaning we rely on action from gun safety activists like you — and I know you’re ready to keep fighting. You have signed our petitions and written to our lawmakers, and now, we need your doubled support to keep powering this movement forward. So please, John, will you give $5 or more right now, and have every dollar go twice as far, so we can prevent gun violence and save lives?

As a survivor of gun violence, I understand that gun violence is a multifaceted problem in need of multifaceted solutions across Congress, courts, and communities. When my parents were shot — and my mom was killed — I learned the hardest way possible that I wasn't safe from gun violence. No community is. Not yet.
Ensuring we can continue leading the fight for common-sense change is the only way we can make progress in preventing gun violence. But we can't do that if we fail to raise the funds we need to power our movement forward.
