John -- First I'm going to share a headline about Georgia. Then I'm going to explain why Georgia is far from the only state we have to worry about:

What this article is telling us is that if Republicans have their way in redistricting, they’ll draw congressional districts in such a way as to make it impossible for Democrats to win the House next year. Their public strategy is to gerrymander their way to a majority!
If it were just Georgia, with its 14 House seats, we might not be so worried. But they'll also try this in Texas (38 seats), Florida (28 seats), and many other states!
With so many states in play it's CRITICAL we have the resources to fight back before it's too late. Redistricting is happening NOW. Can you chip in?

Here's the other thing to mention: Republicans could be looking to gerrymander Democratic women of color out of their seats, like Lucy McBath in Georgia, Stephanie Murphy in Florida, and Sharice Davids in Kansas. If they're successful, not only will they seize the House and block all of Democrats' progressive bills, but it will be a huge loss for diversity in Congress.
