I'm an educator, John. That means it's my job to find the best way to explain complicated concepts to my kiddos.

But when it comes to explaining the stakes in my race, it’s not that complicated: Kevin McCarthy is doing everything he can to protect the far-right and Trump, while real people who need help in our community are being left out to dry.

In class, I talk a lot about leading by example.

Kevin McCarthy is bullying, lying, and threatening people he disagrees with just to advance his political career -- exactly the type of behavior I tell my kids to avoid.

It’s a shame that our district is represented by one of the most high-ranking politicians in the country, yet he behaves so poorly and hasn’t delivered much -- if anything -- to working people in our community.

Kevin McCarthy doesn't deserve the Speaker's gavel, let alone to represent the Central Valley. But I can't beat him without your help, which is why I'm asking:
