One year ago, we lost a giant.
Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg led an extraordinary life. She fought to ensure equal protection under the law, fearlessly dissented and defended, and was a powerful role model for us all.
As we mourn this milestone and reflect on the legacy she leaves behind, we must also recommit to Justice Ginsburg's unending fight for justice. It's our turn to carry the mantle.
I cannot think of a more powerful way to honor Justice Ginsburg than by electing strong, trailblazing women to the Senate who will fight like hell to protect her legacy—and save our Democratic majority.
I’ve set a goal of raising $50,000 for two phenomenal women Senate candidates by midnight so they have the resources to FLIP their seats blue and save our majority. So here’s my ask: [[link removed]] Can you split a donation between Val Demings in Florida and Cheri Beasley in North Carolina? [[link removed]]
Justice Ginsburg once said: “Women belong in all places where decisions are being made.” It’s a quote I reflect on often—especially when women still make up less than a quarter of Congress, and women of color make up an even smaller share.
We can change the face of leadership in Washington by sending Val Demings and Cheri Beasley to the Senate. But it’s going to take serious work, and serious resources. Here’s your link to contribute as much as you’re able: secure.actblue.com/donate/cb_vd_gfs/RBG [[link removed]]
Thank you, thank you, thank you,
Kirsten
