John,

Social Venture Circle and the American Sustainable Business Council invite you to join us on Friday, September 24th at 1pm ET for “Business Perspectives on Climate Policy Leadership ([link removed]) ” - a crucial discussion between American business leaders and the Biden Administration.

After a full week of virtual fly-ins with congressional staff, we are capping off Climate Week with a conversation with the Council on Environmental Quality. CEQ is a critical part of the White House team that sets our national and international climate policy agenda. Just this week, the Administration announced a new global commitment to address methane emissions in an attempt to boost ambition heading into the global climate talks in Glasgow this November. Combined with the efforts made to date, President Biden is working around the clock to build back America's reputation as a climate leader. We will be joined by several CEOs and business leaders who are meeting the moment and working alongside the Administration and ASBC to act at this critical time. Together, we will discuss this window for action and the importance of American business leadership on the pathway to zero emissions.
