Turn on the news: the far-right Capitol insurrectionists' rally in Washington, D.C. is happening TODAY. The rally, “Justice for J6,” is in support of the "political prisoners" who have been arrested or prosecuted for their role in the insurrection. The Capitol grounds once again have additional fencing separating the public from the seat of American government due to legitimate threats of violence and destruction.

The gall displayed with this "Justice for J6" rally is a direct result of GOP leaders enabling and coddling the treasonous MAGA base for electoral gain. Put simply, the vast majority of the Republican Party will tolerate, and outright embrace, a far right fascist agenda because (for the moment) it keeps them wealthy and in power.
