This week, the Senate has finally released its voting rights bill.

The GOP is doing everything it can to suppress voters in critical swing states. Their actions are undemocratic and they must be stopped. We need federal legislation to protect voting rights ASAP.

National standard for voter ID - Details are still unclear. While voter ID requirements are usually a step back, this standard might only apply to states that already have a voter ID law. If that is the case, this could be a good compromise to get this bill passed.
