Friend: One year ago, our nation came together to mourn the loss of a legend, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg – and today, it's never been more important for us to honor the legacy she left behind.
Justice Ginsburg understood that the moral arc of the universe bends toward justice – but only if we push. And right up until her passing, she never stopped pushing even for one moment.
She was a stalwart champion for women’s rights, reproductive rights and voting rights. And when she found herself in the shrinking minority of the Supreme Court, she used her powerful moral clarity to dissent. That moral clarity and her unflinching defense of our rights are the reasons she became an icon – and a guiding light for all of us in these critical fights for justice.
And we need that light now, friend. Because all across the country, Republican politicians are leading a coordinated assault on our democracy. GOP lawmakers are hard at work rewriting the rules of our elections in a desperate attempt to silence the voters they don't want to hear from and cling to power.
In Texas, Republicans just passed a sweeping voter suppression law and a near-total ban on abortion – shaking the foundation of our democracy and threatening the freedom, health and autonomy of millions of women.
When the Supreme Court was called on to act – to defend our constitutional rights and reject Texas' extreme abortion law – the six justices in the right-wing majority, three of whom were appointed by Donald Trump, refused to intervene.
Let me be clear: These aren't just political failures, friend. These are moral failures. So now, even in the face of adversity, we have an obligation to act – and to not give up. To keep pushing to build a country that works for all people, not just a lucky few.
That’s why it's never been more important to defend our critical Democratic majority in the Senate and deliver on our bold, progressive agenda. Health care, voting rights, reproductive freedoms – Justice Ginsburg's entire legacy – that's what's at stake in this next election. I'm working as hard as I can to deliver on our promises, friend, but I need your help.
CNN just named me the most vulnerable Democratic senator up for reelection – and now, national Republicans are coming after me as their TOP target for defeat. With the Senate split 50-50, we can't afford to lose a single seat, but a new poll shows this race statistically tied, and we're running out of time to fight back and win this race.
So please, friend, I’m asking you to join me in this fight: Will you give $5 or more right now – before our critical midnight deadline – to keep Georgia and the Senate blue so we can defend our democracy and build a country that works for all people?
Our entire movement relies on folks like you – so thank you for standing with me in these critical fights for justice.

Please read on for a personal message from Sen. Rev. Raphael Warnock: Friend, thank you – I’m so grateful to this grassroots team for fighting with me for our shared Democratic values. But I need your help now more than ever.
Democrats have a razor-thin 50-50 majority in the Senate, and the GOP is making my seat their TOP target for defeat in next year’s election. They’ll be throwing everything they’ve got at us to take back the Senate for Mitch McConnell – and if we’re going to make any progress on health care, relief for families and so much more, I’ll need your grassroots support to help me win reelection and keep the Senate blue.
If you’re with me in this fight, please click here to donate now. Thank you!
– Senator Reverend Raphael Warnock
