On January 6th we saw our nation’s capitol attacked in an insurrection that Madison Cawthorn helped incite.
And eight months later he yet again doubled down on the big lie that the 2020 presidential election was not fair, referring to the insurrectionists as “political hostages,” saying that he was helping to plan another January 6th style event and warning of “bloodshed.”
Today, right-wing extremists are gathering in Washington, D.C. to rally in support of these rioters. It’s dangerous and alarming and this is not happening in a vacuum. Cawthorn continues to spread disinformation and fan the flames of division.
He has no business being in the halls of Congress, and we’re making sure everyone in NC-11 knows it. But we need your help.
