Fellow Conservative,

This week, our #SaveOurPaychecks tour made a stop in Atlanta, Georgia!

Local activists and elected officials joined us at Round Trip Brewing Co., where we discussed the devastating effects of the Democrats’ economic agenda on Georgians.

Despite Biden’s tax and spend policies, Georgia has been ranked the “The Top State for Doing Business” for the eighth consecutive year.

Thanks to strong conservative leadership, Georgia has enacted pro-growth policies that help workers, reduce taxes, eliminate burdensome regulations, and foster a business-friendly environment that attracts companies small and large.

Unfortunately, reckless policies at the federal level are hurting workers.

Let’s be clear, Biden’s $3.5 trillion reconciliation bill is socialism on steroids.

This bill will be the largest expansion of the welfare state since LBJ and will saddle our children and future generations with insurmountable debt.

Rep. Drew Ferguson (R-Ga.) put it best: “They are taking from our children, they’re taking from our grandchildren, and they are taking from you right now. It is wrong.”

It’s more than just spending. Democrats are trying to use this bill to push their entire Left-wing socialist agenda:

  • Grant amnesty to 8 million illegals
  • Rig election laws in their favor
  • Increase taxes by more than $2 trillion
  • Include universal pre-K run by the government to indoctrinate your children in Leftist activism (Check out SaveOurSchools.com)
  • Embrace Green New Deal policies like clean energy mandates, taxes on natural gas, a National Climate Bank slush fund, and more radical environmental policies that will cause energy prices to skyrocket

This week, markups for the $3.5 trillion package concluded in House committees. Keep reading each week and we will keep you updated.

The Biden campaign last year promised Americans a nonpolitical Justice Department. Thus far, the exact opposite is true.

Last week, Attorney General Merrick Garland sued the state of Texas over the Texas Heartbeat Act, a law that rightfully protects the lives of unborn babies whose hearts are already beating.

Earlier this year, the DOJ sued the state of Georgia over its election integrity law. The administration outlandishly claimed that the law was ‘racist,’ even though it implemented common-sense reforms like voter ID.

We fought back against Biden, and launched a $1 million campaign to support election integrity and educate Georgia voters on what the bill really does!

The Justice Department should be focused on fighting crime. Recently in Chicago, 60 people were shot, seven fatally, in just one weekend. Instead of using the DOJ to fix the crime crisis, Biden wants to intimidate state legislatures to enact his radical agenda.

The next week and a half will be a major test for Nancy Pelosi and House Democrats.

Weeks ago, Pelosi managed to get every single House Democrat to vote for the $3.5 trillion budget resolution setting up a later vote on reconciliation. In exchange, Pelosi promised that there will be a vote on the separate $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill by Sept. 27 (which the Senate already passed).

Should the infrastructure package come to the floor before the final $3.5 reconciliation bill, Pelosi will have trouble getting the support of the far-left socialists in the party. They have demanded a vote on the reconciliation bill before the infrastructure package.

Heritage Action strongly opposes both bills—a vote for either is a vote for both—as it makes it easier for Biden, Pelosi, and Schumer to enact their agenda.

Thank you for being in our corner, and together we can fight back against the Left’s disastrous policies!
