Language that weaponizes this horrific and racist history for political purposes is disgraceful. It’s clear that Lindsey Graham’s moral compass points toward Trump, and the only way he will be held accountable is when the people of South Carolina vote him out.

In Georgia, we are still dealing with the racist legacy of Jim Crow. The Voting Rights Act has been dismantled, mass incarceration disproportionately affects young black men, and the maternal mortality crisis kills more black mothers than of any other race. Our senator David Perdue votes with Trump 99% of the time — our people deserve better.
