Democrat,

Since headlining a Trump-supporting “Stop the Steal” rally with Confederate flags and white supremacists in November 2020, Republican gubernatorial candidate Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli has desperately tried to rewrite history. It’s no surprise that Ciattarelli has repeatedly lied about his involvement — extreme right-wing gatherings like the rally he spoke at helped spread Trump’s “Big Lie” about the 2020 election and led to the January 6th U.S. Capitol Insurrection. But now even with new video evidence showing Ciattarelli speaking right in front of a “Stop the Steal” sign, he still won’t tell the truth -- and it isn’t the first time he’s lied about it. Read more here about eight times Ciattarelli lied about his “Stop the Steal” appearance.

Header: Gov. Murphy Update

This week Governor Murphy announced an exciting plan to bring full universal public Pre-K to New Jersey by building on the success his administration has already had in expanding access to early childhood education. As the Governor said, Pre-K is one of the best investments we can make in the future of our state by giving our children the best possible academic start and allowing them to reach their full potential. Governor Murphy is continuing to show his deep commitment to a stronger and fairer New Jersey, and it’s a stark contrast with his opponent who claims that New Jersey can’t afford to expand Pre-K. The truth is that we can and we will, because our children deserve it.

Header: President Biden Update

President Biden continues to push for support of his Build Back Better agenda, which includes massive investments in our infrastructure, safety net, schools and much more. The plan includes making the wealthiest pay their fair share to create more opportunities for the rest of us, a goal that Governor Murphy shares and has made great strides in accomplishing by passing the millionaire’s tax, raising the minimum wage and many other initiatives. From Governor Murphy and our legislative Democrats to President Biden and our Congressional representatives, our party is working for a fairer, stronger country and state.

Thank you,

-- Chairman LeRoy J. Jones, Jr.

P.S. I was very proud to represent our party recently alongside our Vice Chair Peg Schaffer, First Lady Tammy Murphy, Cherry Hill Mayor Susan Shin Angulo and other local officials to welcome DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison to our state for the last stop of President Biden’s “Build Back Better” national bus tour. The tour highlighted how the President's agenda is helping bring America back from the brink of disaster and one of its first stops was also here in the Garden State in Trenton. Chairman Harrison is doing a fantastic job leading our party and we are working closely with him on several initiatives aimed at electing more Democrats up and down the ballot.
