Friends,
I know a lot of folks in D.C. are on edge about tomorrow. Trump supporters are coming back to the Capitol for a “Justice for J6” rally, fencing around the Capitol building has gone back up and Capitol Police have already issued an emergency declaration.
It shouldn’t have to be this way, but Republicans refuse to tell their voters the truth about the 2020 election and the insurrection that Donald Trump incited after he lost.
I spoke up about this right-wing rally on OutFront with Erin Burnett, click here to hear what I had to say and then please donate so I can fight for truth and justice in Washington! [[link removed]]
As I said on CNN, we have a democratic process that allows for peaceful demonstrations, but if these individuals come to Capitol with the intent to do harm to the Capitol building itself, to break the law, then they will have to face the consequences of that in the same way Ashley Babbitt and those other individuals faced the consequences of their actions.
The truth is, we need accountability for the violence that took place on January 6th and I’m going to continue waging this fight in Washington. I hope you will join me in this fight for truth and justice by donating $15 right now. [[link removed]]
Thanks,
Stacey Plaskett
