[[link removed]]Dear Friend
The delta variant has been hitting us hard these past few months. As you know the number of cases, transmission rates, and hospitalizations have all risen after having declined during the spring and early summer. We’re in another tough stretch of this pandemic as President Biden reminded us earlier this month.
Over the years and during this crisis we’ve seen that it’s easier to get through really difficult times like these when we rely on expertise and experience; when government officials deploy significant public resources; and we turn to each other. This is an important time to strengthen our connections and to work together to get to better days. Because of this, we invite you to join us for a very important community conversation about this phase of COVID-19.
Statewide COVID Forum
September 28, 2021
6:30-8:00 PM
RSVP for the Forum HERE [[link removed]]This Community Forum will provide a way for you to get an overview of where we are as a state, to hear about some current vaccination and community education efforts, to share your concerns, and to hear about the impact COVID continues to have on everyday Marylanders like healthcare workers.
We passed a very sad milestone this week when the number of deaths in the state climbed over 10,000. Let’s honor the memories of all those we have lost by doing all we can to end this pandemic. We look forward to being with you at the gathering on Sept. 28.
With gratitude,
The Progressive Maryland Team
