Mo Brooks is a conspiracy-spreading, insurrection-inciting, right-wing extremist who is STILL spreading falsehoods about massive election fraud in 2020.

We’re not surprised that he claims Terri’s bill to restore the original protections of the Voting Rights Act would be detrimental to his cause -- he and his MAGA buddies know that when we all vote, they lose.

Terri Sewell is leading the fight in Congress to strengthen voting rights while right-wing fanatics like Brooks are determined to undermine our democracy at every turn.

Comments like these from the GOP are the reason we HAVE to keep pushing for the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act to get passed. Will you chip in and help us fuel the fight to pass this historic legislation?

We can’t believe we have to say this, but no, expanding voting rights to every American citizen would not turn our democratic elections into ‘North Korea’. There is nothing more fundamental to our democracy than the right to vote!

As a reminder, here’s what the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act will actually do:

• Restore protections of the Voting Rights Act gutted by the Supreme Court
• Prohibit states and localities with a recent history of voter discrimination from restricting the right to vote
• Eliminate the heightened standard for challenging voter discrimination
