If you are a tenant who owes rent or a landlord who is owed rent, I encourage you to apply to the Emergency Rental Assistance program.

Friend,

ATTN: If you are a tenant who owes rent or a landlord who is owed rent, I encourage you to apply to the Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP). This pandemic has caused many New Yorkers to fall on hard times, and this program could provide you and your family with SIGNIFICANT economic relief.

Congress gave the state $2.3 billion last year for the program with New York adding $300 million more to the pot -- but those funds are finite! If you qualify, I encourage you to apply NOW before the money runs out!

Not everyone is aware of this program, so please join me in spreading the word so everyone can get the help they need!

There are income eligibility requirements, but anyone -- regardless of immigration status -- who meets the criteria can apply for assistance!

The housing ecosystem has been turned upside down by the pandemic, and it’s time for New Yorkers to take advantage of this rollout! If you or anyone you know needs assistance, do not hesitate to call my office for help: 718 238 6044.

Sincerely,

Andrew

P.S. Don’t forget to RSVP to our back to school picnic in Marine Park this Sunday, September 19th. We can discuss education and family-related issues as the school year starts. Come with any questions or concerns!
