In the 2020 election, we saw Trump and his minions do everything in their power to undermine the results of our free and fair election --
going so far as to ask Georgia's Sec. of State to “find” 11,000 votes to flip the state in his favor.
With rumblings that Donald Trump might be making another White House run in 2024, it's clear what such a campaign would look like.
There's
no way we can go through what we went through for another 4 years again. A Trump re-re-election campaign would be a campaign built on a lie that he was cheated out of office. A campaign that is centered around delegitimizing a system of free and fair elections, undermining our democracy one lie after the next. A campaign rooted in white supremacy.

John, let us make one thing clear: Our work goes
beyond fighting against a Donald Trump re-re-election campaign. Since being at the forefront of right-wing extremism, he has emboldened people that are just like him to run for office on the local, state, and federal levels.
That means there are a bunch of white supremacists running for office all over the country. Some of them are even running for their reelections (cough cough, attempted coup on our nation's Capitol...cough cough, Sen. Ted Cruz and Sen. Josh Hawley.)
These people have the power to impact the day-to-day lives of Black folks nationwide and won't stop until they've succeeded. After all, white supremacy doesn't sleep. We've already seen what they've done in Texas -- banning abortion after six weeks, prohibiting the teaching of critical race theory, implementing some of the most racist voting restrictions since Jim Crow.
We're going to start seeing this type of legislation go into effect all over the country if we don't act now by backing candidates that pledge to protect and advance the future of Black lives. It's because of the dedicated monthly donors that we've been able to support so many candidates in the past -- but looking ahead to the 2022 and 2024 elections, we
have to do more.
