At the end of this month, we have an FEC fundraising deadline. I’m going to ask you to chip in to support our movement at the end of this email, but first let me explain why this deadline is so important.
Every political group and candidate is required to report all their fundraising numbers for the last three months to the FEC. This information is published publicly, and our numbers will be analyzed to see if our campaign has the strength to take on Jim Jordan. It’s essential our report shows the strength of our grassroots movement.
Despite pushing Trump’s Big Lie, despite undermining our elections, despite attacking a woman’s right to choose, and despite his conspiracy theories, Jim Jordan is raising millions of dollars to protect his seat. His dark money backers and corporate donors are determined to keep his voice in Congress.
I’m not going to lie to you, John. Fundraising over the summer is not easy and right now our numbers are not where they need to be to reach our goal.
Our deadline is less than two weeks away. Can you step up today to help us defeat Jim Jordan by chipping in $500, $250, $100, $50 or even just $25? I know it’s going to be an uphill battle, but with dedicated folks like you on my team, I know we can win.
