These extremists have been egged on all year long by people like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Madison Cawthorn — the latter of which is the GOP representative who recently warned of “bloodshed” in support of Trump’s election fraud lies. Let’s be clear: Every American has a constitutional right to peaceful protest, but there is no place in our democracy for violence in the streets.
